As the bilingual caseload grew, so did the number of bilingual therapists. She then realized the need for materials in Spanish to target specific language goals and merchandise to appreciate her bilingual therapists. The coronavirus pandemic halted the development of Play and Grow Bilingual, which was made official in 2021. About The Founder Melixsa Acosta, M.S., CCC-SLP is a Florida state licensed bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist, holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA).
